Welcome Back to the Water Cycle!

It’s been awhile!  Welcome back to the Water Cycle, a periodic newsletter for the Minnesota water technology community. After a hiatus of two years, we’re back with some important news to share about current opportunities, especially in the international scene.

German firm HST is Looking for a Subsidiary Manager and for Partners

HST needs you: the manufacturer of water treatment technology and related IT products is searching for a US Subsidiary Manager for their growth plans. The position calls for development of a sales hub, project planning, support to existing customers, sales to new customers and management duties. Anyone interested, can reach out to me, steve.riedel@state.mn.us for a full position description and introduction to the company.

WEFTEC 2023

Veteran water technology companies are well aware that WEFTEC is the world's largest water and wastewater treatment show, taking place alternately in Chicago and New Orleans. Each year as many as 15 Minnesota companies exhibit at the show. What about you? Thought about WEFTEC but decided it's a bit expensive? The Minnesota Trade Office will be applying for a federal grant to help with booth costs for up to four lucky small- or medium-sized water tech companies for the 2023 WEFTEC.  Pending grant application approval, formal notices to come later this year. If you'd like to know more or get on the pre-recruitment list for updates, send me a note.

STEP Grants for Exporters

Looking to grow your water tech (or service) exports to new international markets?  The Minnesota Trade Office has State Trade Expansion Program (STEP) grant funding available for eligible small and medium-sized firms. We also have export development services, at no cost to you, through our network of overseas representatives, in a number of key regions of the world. Contact me for details.
