Join us for an interactive and entertaining webinar on ADA Rights and Responsibilities for Students in Post-Secondary Education & Employment

INTENDED AUDIENCE:

School Staff, Students, Parents/Family Members/Guardians and VRS/SSB Staff

OBJECTIVES:

Participants will:

  1. Have an understanding of the Rights & Responsibilities of students regarding Title I of the ADA including, but not limited to; interviewing, disclosure, and reasonable accommodations as it impacts people with disabilities and their employers
  2. Receive a general overview of the 5 titles of the ADA
  3. Learn about their rights and responsibilities as it pertains to accommodations while attending a post-secondary educational institution, both in the classroom and in a residential dorm setting
  4. Have access to both local and national ADA resources
