The April 6 VRS Community Partners + VRS Staff Forum is moved to May 6 from 9:00am – 11:00am. We are looking forward to sharing a lot of new information with our partners and staff at that time. We hope you will take advantage of the many opportunities to engage with the E1MN efforts as noted below.

4/8 E1MN Webinar! The Benefits of Becoming Both 245D and VRS/SSB Service Providers
In this webinar, you will learn about the process to become a provider with 245D and VRS/SSB. Becoming a provider in both networks will improve people’s access to employment services and help the person who uses services experience continuity of services.
- When: 2-3:30 p.m. April 8, 2021

- Registration information: All attendees must register in advance on the April 8 event page.
E1MN Core Training
Mark your calendar to attend one of three upcoming E1MN core training events for Vocational Rehabilitation Services/State Services for the Blind (VRS/SSB), waiver case managers, employment service providers and 245D waiver employment service providers.
This training is a basic introduction to the E1MN initiative. It is available on multiple dates, but you only need to attend one event. The training will focus on how the statewide, interagency partnership will deliver a more seamless and timely employment support system.

- 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021
- 1-3 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2021
- 9-11 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2021
- Where: Online via Zoom (the session recording will be available in mid-May). After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information about how to join the meeting.
- Registration information: All attendees must register in advance for training:
- Accommodation requests: ASL Interpreters and CART captioning services will be available for each training. If you have other accommodation needs, please contact Susan Kusz at kusz@state.mn.us.
E1MN: Coffee Chats
Coffee chats are monthly 60-minute webinars for E1MN updates and answers to pre-submitted questions. They take place on the second Thursday of each month, from March to July.
To submit a question that you would like addressed, use the Coffee Chat Question Form. Submit your questions at least three days before the meeting.
Register in advance for each meeting. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email that will contain information about how to join the meeting.
