Workforce One Tip – Enrollment Fields

We all know that information pulled from workforce one reports are only as good as the information put in to the system. Most demographic errors occur when, at enrollment, the most appropriate options are not chosen in the drop-down fields.

The ACP team has recently found that one of the most common error occurs when it is indicated that the participant is Not in Labor Force as this is designated for individuals who are not planning to enter the work force; i.e. not seeking employment opportunities.  Below is brief definition of each option available in the Labor Force Status field:

Employed Full-Time; at the time of enrollment the participant is employed full-time (32 hrs/wk or more)

Employed Part-Time; at the time of enrollment the participant is employed part-time (31 hrs/wk or less)

Employed, Rec Term Notice/Military Sep; at the time of enrollment the participant is employed, but has received a recent termination notice or recently separated from military service

Not Employed, was not Self-Employed; at the time of enrollment the participant is not employed and was not previously self-employed

Not Employed, was Self Employed, Farm; at the time of enrollment the participant is not employed and was previously self-employed in the farming industry

Not Employed, was Self Employed, Non-Farm; at the time of enrollment the participant is not employed and was previously self-employed not in the farming industry

Not In Labor Force; at the time of enrollment the participant is not employed and is not seeking to enter the labor force/find employment

ACP Operations Guide

ACP’s Operations Guide is now available from the ACP home page. The Guide documents current practices for ACP.  The ACP Team meets monthly to discuss suggested additions, updates, modifications, and other changes to the guide and update as necessary. he Guide is intended to be a living document and will be updated as procedures evolve.  It does NOT include measures implemented in response to COVID-19, which are listed separately.

Heads-up!
