Respondents to an annual Manufacturing Business Conditions Survey conducted by the Minnesota DEED and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis say they expect mostly unchanged or improved conditions in 2020.

Nearly all Minnesota manufacturers (94%) who responded to a recent survey expect employment in their company to remain the same or go up during 2020. That’s according to the Manufacturing Business Conditions Survey released yesterday by DEED and the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis.
DEED’s mission is to empower the growth of Minnesota’s economy for everyone by reducing employment disparities and promoting an equitable work environment. For the Labor Market Information Office, this means paying close attention to the specific labor market challenges faced by populations with barriers to employment.
