The Minneapolis North Campus Adult Education Program located at 800 West Broadway - is currently enrolling students!
The Adult Education Program designs and delivers exceptional educational programming for adults to reach their life, work and academic literacy goals. The Adult Education Programs foster a skilled and capable workforce, engaged citizens, educated parents and thriving communities. Minneapolis Public Schools Adult Education collaborates with the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) - CareerForce Minneapolis, and NorthPoint Health and Wellness Center to provide health, career and education resources at 800 West Broadway.
Minneapolis Public Schools Adult Education programs are offered from 8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday (day program) and from 5 – 9 p.m. (evening program) Monday through Thursday. Offerings include GED Classes, English as Second Language Classes, GED Testing and Career Pathways instruction in the fields of Child Development, Food Service, and Healthcare.

Employment and Training Programs
City of Minneapolis Employment and Training
City of Minneapolis Employment and Training administers a variety of employment and training programs under the direction of the Mayor, City Council, and Minneapolis Workforce Development Board. Our programs:

Minneapolis Works - Assistance finding a job for low-income, Minneapolis residents ages 18 and older.

WIOA Adult - Employment and training services to eligible adults 18 and over who are looking to gain skills and employment in healthcare, IT, manufacturing, construction or administrative services.

Minneapolis Youth Works - Assistance with high school completion, work preparation or employment goals for Minneapolis Youth ages 14-21.

Dislocated Worker Program - Comprehensive services for those who have lost their job through no fault of their own for adult ages 18 and older.
