Updates from DEED
Sales of Minnesota agriculture, mining and manufacturing exports from Minnesota fell 4% between the second quarters of 2018 and 2019 to $5.7 billion, according to a report released today by DEED. U.S. exports fell by 3% during the same period.
Jim Hegman has been named Unemployment Insurance (UI) Director for the State of Minnesota. Jim previously served as Deputy Director of the Unemployment Insurance Division. He is the quintessential public service professional known for getting things done in a complex UI environment.
