A Minnesota Job Skills Partnership grant totaling nearly $50,000 was officially awarded to RCTC and Crenlo Manufacturing Wednesday morning. The MJSP grant helps develop job advancement opportunities for current Crenlo employees through RCTC’s on-the-job training program.

Two area internet providers plan to hit the ground running this spring with expansion projects that will get folks in Todd and Wadena counties within reach of high-speed internet. They're able to lay fiber optic technology in these unserved and under-served areas thanks to millions of dollars in grant funding.

Report Outlines Early Outcomes of Minnesota Equity Grants

Grants focused on programs that assist Minnesotans of color, women, youth and people with disabilities have helped further develop nearly 15,000 businesses and assist almost 50,000 career seekers and youth with employment, education and support services across the state, according to a new report released by the DEED.

CareerForce Minneapolis South Closed

CareerForce Minneapolis South, located at 777 East Lake Street, is closed today, Tuesday, January 22, due to a water damage incident. The closure is expected to last several days as restoration crews work to resolve the incident.

Minnesota had the fourth best laws in the nation for state public charter schools according to the National Alliance for Public Charter schools. The tenth annual edition of the Measuring up to the Model ranking examined laws from multiple different states and concluded that Minnesota had the fourth best laws based on their criteria.
