In November, the Howard Lake City Council approved selling the property to MLN for $125,000. This is the same price the City bought the property for in 2017. The plan is to have the office move-in ready by August. Total project costs are about $530,000 which includes property acquisition, demolition, site testing, related remediation. To offset some of this, the City of Howard Lake obtained about $350,000 from the Department of Employment and Economic Development (DEED) and other outside sources.
