Minnesota Opportunity Corps Navigator
Receive training to help economically disadvantaged people in the metro area navigate employment and/or post-secondary education to meet their career goals and get a living-wage job.
Navigators receive Global Career Development Facilitator training, on-going support, and professional development opportunities. In addition, eligible members receive a modest living stipend, an education award of up to $5,815 and other benefits.
Start in September and serve through July 7, 2018.

Free Manufacturing: Certified Production Technician Training
Complete four foundational manufacturing courses to earn an industry-recognized credential, the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council Certified Production Technician. Training offered by HIRED.

SOAR (Skills, Opportunity, Achievement, Responsibility)
Soar at American Indian OIC/Takoda Group equips 18-24 year old young adults with academic and vocational skills and provides access to opportunities that help them accomplish personal achievement and embrace a spirit of responsibility. SOAR serves individuals who’ve had run-ins with the law and are looking to improve their futures. Grant and scholarships for career training are available for those who qualify.
