Mine Water Remediation Event

On Sept. 26, MnDRIVE Environment will host a symposium at the University of Minnesota on mine water bioremediation. The event will feature keynote presentations by Dr. D. Barrie Johnson (Bangor University, Wales) and Dr. Judy Wall (University of Missouri). Speakers from the mining and water treatment sectors also will participate. Lunch will be provided

There is no cost to attend, but space is limited. Registration closes Sept. 19.

Singapore's Economic Development Board

Water Treatment in Punjab, Pakistan — Here Next Week!

This will be a rare opportunity to learn firsthand what’s happening in Pakistan’s environmental sector. Senior officials from the Punjab, Pakistan, environmental agency will be here Sept. 12-14, participating in a special workshop-style water roundtable on Sept. 13. They want to meet Minnesota companies!

Testing New Water Technologies

State government, the University of Minnesota and private sector partners have been awarded a small grant to explore new ways to accelerate the testing and implementation of new water technologies.
