Free Workshops at the PPL Learning Center Project for Pride in Living
(PPL) is offering free workshops to improve your computer and professional
development skills. By attending four or more workshops, you will receive a $10
bus or gas card.
Workshops begin December 7th
to December 31st and will be held at the PPL Learning Center located
on: 1925 Chicago Avenue, Second Floor, Minneapolis, MN 55404.

Trainings from the International Institute of MN The International Institute of MN is offering two free
courses that may help you get back into the workforce.
Free Computer Classes This class combines training in
English, employment readiness, and computer usage. It is not a traditional
ELL/ESL course, although it includes grammar structures and language skills
important in job-seeking. Students use Microsoft Office Word 2010, Excel, and
email to improve keyboarding, internet searching, writing to acquire digital
literacy skills essential for the work place and personal goals.

Nursing Assistant Training This training prepares new
Americans to work as nursing assistants; not open to individuals born in the U.S.
The application deadline is December 1st, 2015 followed with a
required English test on December 2nd. Check in for the English test is 8:30am-9am,
