Earn college credits and industry credentials in high demand field at Hennepin Technical College. 

Class schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 am-1pm. Classes begin at the end of August 2015. Application deadline is August 10, 2015.

Requirements:

  • Must have GED or High School Diploma
  • Must be registered for Selective Services (a requirement for males only)

Prime Digital Academy
An 18 to 30 week program focusing on industry-led experiential learning and apprenticeship with some of the metro’s leading IT employers. Funding is available for qualifying students who would otherwise be unable to attend. Classes start July 13, August 10, and September 8.

City of Minneapolis Employment and Training administers a variety of employment and training programs under the direction of the Mayor, City Council, and Minneapolis Workforce Council. To learn more about specific programs click on the following links:

    Assistance finding a job for low-income, Minneapolis residents ages 18 and older.
  • Minneapolis Youth Works
    Assistance with high school completion, work preparation or employment goals for Minneapolis Youth ages 14-21.

    Comprehensive services for those who have lost their job through no fault of their own for adult ages 18 and older.
  • Train to Career
    Job-skills training in a select occupation in demand for low-income, Minneapolis residents.
