Due Oct. 18: Grow Your Own Early Childhood and Family Educator Grants |

The Grow Your Own Early Childhood and Family Educator grants focus on developing an early childhood education workforce that more closely reflects the state's increasingly diverse student population and ensuring that all students have equitable access to high-quality early educators.
Early childhood care and education organizations are invited to apply for grants to host, build, or expand an early childhood educator preparation program that leads to individuals earning a credential or degree needed to enter or advance in the early childhood education workforce.
Eligible applicants include:
- Minnesota-licensed family child care or licensed center-based child care programs
- School district or charter school early learning programs, including Early Childhood Special Education, Early Childhood Family Education, School Readiness, and Voluntary PreK
- Head Start programs, including Tribal Head Start and Early Head Start
- Institutions of higher education
- Community partnership nongovernmental organizations
Required grant documentation
All documentation below is required for a complete grant. A complete application submission will include Application Coversheet, Assurances, Application Narrative and Excel Budget, along with any other documentation that is requested in the Instruction Document.
