Take the survey! Share your feedback on draft goals
The Olmstead Implementation Office (OIO) is hosting a public comment period for the draft Olmstead Plan. State staff and consultants with lived experience of disability (Inclusion Consultants) worked together on agency teams to write the draft plan and its goals.
Our online survey to share input is now open! Your feedback from this survey will be used by agency teams to update and finalize the goals. We have also created high-level guides of each topic area and its goals. These goal guides and the full plan draft can be found on the OIO website.
Currently the survey is available in English and will be open for 30 days. The English survey will close on May 8. We will also have the survey available in Spanish, Hmong, Somali, and ASL (ASL videos with captions and voice over). The surveys in these languages will launch the week of April 20 and will be open for 30 days.
The Olmstead Plan will be finalized in Fall 2026. Thank you for being part of the creation of the next plan!
Register for a public comment virtual meeting
Another way to share feedback is to register for a virtual meeting! We are working with the Dendros Group to host these meetings. Each meeting is focused on one goal topic area in the plan: Housing, Transit and Transportation, Education, Crisis Services, Health and Safety, Transition (includes waivers), and Employment.
Registration is now open! There are limited spots available, so we recommend registering as soon as possible. We encourage people with disabilities, their supporters, and people who work in the disability field to attend. Registration will close 24 hours before each meeting.
The remaining meeting dates and registration include:
