Metropolitan State University and Minneapolis Community and Technical College are excited to announce that registration is open for our 5th Spring Recovery Conference. Our theme is Creating a Community of Recovery: Creative Methods for Recovery. The conference will focus on supporting individuals in recovery or those who have had challenges with addiction.
The conference will take place on Monday, April 20, 2026, at Metropolitan State University. You may choose to attend in person or virtually (plenary/keynotes only). We hope you will consider joining us and/or sharing this within your network.

The conference is free and open to addiction and recovery professionals as well as professionals in K-12 or higher education, social work, or other interested or related fields as well as students. We are applying for CEU credits as well. The conference will include keynote/ plenary session and break-out sessions on various topics.

Apply for a Minnesota Dual Training Grant
The Dual Training Grant supports the implementation of Minnesota Dual-Training Pipeline programs by pairing on-the-job training with related instruction to generate a comprehensive platform for learning.
The funding generates collaborative and strategic educational solutions between employers and related instruction training providers across Minnesota. Employers or organizations of employers may apply for grants to reimburse expenses related to instruction toward attaining an industry-recognized degree, certificate or credential for their employees.
A grantee can receive up to $150,000 for related instruction costs, of which a single dual trainee can benefit from $6,000. In addition, a grantee can receive up to $15,000 for trainee support costs. Grantees receive funds through a reimbursement process.

You may have heard that we are combining layers of service for people experiencing homelessness into one request for proposals – we’re calling it the Super RFP.
If you provide any of the services below, this is the opportunity for you. This will be the primary way to receive funding via Hennepin County, from 2027 through the end of 2029:
