Mediation and Restorative Services (MARS) works with schools, communities, and individuals to resolve conflicts peacefully and provide tools to folks to work together to resolve conflict without involving the court system. Our Empowering Community event will take place on May 29, 2025 at Anoka Ramsey Community College in Coon Rapids. Empowering Community is designed to engage folks who work in the justice and corrections systems, direct service nonprofits, social justice movements, and educators. Participants will learn the benefits of mediation and restorative practices and will also gain practical tools to use during a dispute, which many people will find helpful in their day-to-day work. Early bird tickets are available through February 28, and we have limited scholarship opportunities for those with financial need.
