Thanksgiving Food Options
The Union Gospel Mission is giving away 4,000 bags of groceries for holiday meals the week of Thanksgiving.
Anyone in need of a meal can register online now to pick up the groceries Nov. 22-23 at the ministry’s men’s campus at 435 E University Ave. in St. Paul.
The bags will include enough turkey, stuffing, potatoes, rice, gravy mix, vegetables and dessert to feed a family of five.
The Union Gospel Mission, a Christian ministry that provides housing, food and programming to those in need, has been giving away food for Thanksgiving for over 64 years.

🕯 40th Annual Homeless Memorial March and Service on December 12, 2024.
For 40 years, hundreds of community members have come together for the Homeless Memorial March and Service to remember people who died while experiencing homelessness, who were previously homeless, or who were advocates. It is a solemn night of remembrance in the community. We hold vigil in a silent march, gather to read every name light a candle for each one, and share memories.

Mental health clinicians, psychologists and medical professionals are invited to attend two Zoom webinars focusing on the assessment and intervention of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). Attendees do not have to attend the first webinar to attend the second; however, the first webinar will provide foundational information regarding FASD. CEUs will be provided for attendance at each webinar. The Minnesota Department of Human Services’ Early Childhood Mental Health (ECMH) system of care is partnering with Fraser, Proof Alliance, University of Minnesota and The Village Family Service Center to provide the training sessions. These webinars are a showing of the live trainings that were recorded and occurred in September 2024.
