Join us to learn about the Follow Along Program! It is a FREE developmental resource to support families and caregivers with a child’s learning and growing, connecting them to supports and services as needed. Implemented by our Local Public Health agencies across the state, it is designed for families with children ages birth-3 years of age (and with new legislative funds we are extending to 5 ½ years). The Follow Along Program has been around for over 35 years, it is evidence-based and utilizes the Ages and Stages periodic questionnaires with developmental activities shared through the mail or electronically throughout the child’s early years. It is the only Minnesota screening program that does not require a face-to-face meeting, eligibility requirements, or the need to provide immigration status, citizenship, or financial status. Supporting a young child’s development early is key to lifelong health and well-being. Find out how the Follow Along Program can be a resource to you.
