About the event
The MNJRC's annual Re-Imagining Justice Conference is an inspirational convening of a broad diversity of criminal legal system practitioners, scholars, advocates, impacted persons, and community members. Through keynotes, plenaries, and breakout sessions, we create the space to share and learn from efforts to bring the criminal legal system closer to a true justice system.
This year's convening will be in-person for the first time since 2019 under the theme "Pivoting from Problem to Possibility", in which we seek to re-imagine a criminal legal system that doesn't just respond to problems that we see currently happening, but looks for approaches that are based on dreams of what can be.
MNDOC's Family Supports Unit is now hiring! Three family supports facility navigator positions are currently posted through 10/15 for internal and external applicants. These positions support incarcerated persons and their families and serve as point persons for critical concerns and in navigating policies or processes. These positions also coordinate or facilitate family visitation, parent training and support programs designed to reunite and strengthen families.
