Commissioner Schnell invites Corrections staff and their family members to a virtual town hall. The Commissioner will spend an hour via conference call hearing from you and your families and directly respond to any questions raised. Commissioner Schnell understands this is a challenging time for everyone, particularly for those of you who are on the frontlines on a daily basis and their loved ones at home. We are hopeful that Commissioner Schnell can provide some helpful information, as well as hear from staff about their experiences and most pressing concerns.

Opening of New Sober House for Native American Men

Each week, we will spend time spotlighting a resource that is available during COVID-19. After, we will discuss resources you'd like to learn about or available resources that you'd like to share.
You only need to register once to receive the join link. A confirmation email with a calendar option and a link to join the meeting will be sent to you after registration. You are welcome to attend every week, or just when you are available.

The Volunteers In Corrections will be holding a plant sale this year.
Our Plant sale is held at the Ramsey County Correctional facility at 297 Century Ave S, St Paul, MN 55119. Please follow the signs around to the back (on Lower Afton) where the greenhouses are located.
To make these new rules and changes easier to adapt to we are changing our hours and increasing the amount of time we will be open to help spread out customers, and hopefully making it easier and more convenient for you at the same time. Our first weekend sale will be May 1st, 2nd and 3rd. We will then be open weekdays for the first time ever May 4th through the 14th, and potentially longer.
