Updated Fuel Costs
Updated fuel costs have been sent out to the
network. Please update your fuel cost library in the Weatherization Assistant and
use the new fuel costs on all new audits as of October 1, 2017.
Weatherization
Assistant Update
An updated version of
Weatherization Assistant will be rolled out in the coming weeks. The rollout
will involve a conversion of each service provider’s database. The contractor
who has made the updates will perform these database conversions on behalf of
each service provider. Detailed instructions will follow. The update will
include:
- An updated reports module that includes Commerce monthly and quarterly reports
- An updated ASHRAE Tab that includes changes for ASHRAE 62.2-2016
- Various bug fixes
FACSPRO Update
Commerce staff continues to receive training on the FACSPRO system. Any service
providers interested in beta-testing the FACSPRO system in the second and third
quarters of PY 2017 should email Commerce at weatherization.commerce@state.mn.us by Friday,
October 6, 2017. Thank you in advance.
Fiscal Update
A2107 (EAP/WX CO2) Closeout
The A2107 fund ends September 30, 2017. A
final Financial Status Report (FSR) and cash request must be submitted in eHEAT
by Monday, October 30, 2017.
- Expenses cannot be incurred past September 30, and all payments to vendors must be paid by October 30.
- Service providers do not need to submit a September FSR for A2107 on October 10 since the final FSR will be submitted by October 30.
Note: Service providers must
still submit September FSRs for all other WAP funds and upload their local WA
database by October 10.
Training Update
Quality
Control Inspector Recertification
Quality Control Inspector recertification will
be held the weeks of October 9, October 23, and November 6 and includes a one-day
refresher course held Monday and Thursday of each week and individualized field
tests. Register at https://lms.chplearning.org.
HEP Energy
Auditor Training
Registration for the two-week HEP Energy
Auditor training to be held the weeks of November 12 and November 27 will be
sent out in the coming weeks. Please register all relevant staff.

The 2018 Energy Conference will be held from
April 25-27, 2018 at Breezy Point Resort meeting and event facilities in
Breezy Point, Minn.
