Six Decades of Service, Safety and Community

This week, we're celebrating all things Chanhassen Fire Department as the organization marks 60 years of service to our community. In this edition, you'll find a look back at the department's history, a behind-the-scenes glimpse into a day in the life of a firefighter, a breakdown of the services they offer Chanhassen residents, and recognition of several outstanding members honored at this year's annual banquet. Whether responding to emergencies, educating residents or volunteering countless hours in service to others, our firefighters continue a six-decade tradition of dedication, professionalism and commitment to keeping Chanhassen safe.

Explore Lake Ann through a guided drawing experience that blends creativity and nature. Participants will try a variety of instructor-guided drawing approaches while connecting with the outdoors. Leave with a sketchbook filled with artwork inspired by your Lake Ann experience.

Kick off summer on Thursday, June 11, at Lake Ann Park with a free concert from Tumbling Daisies! Bring your friends and family for music, food, giveaways and more at the first performance of the annual summer series. Thank you to Old National Bank for sponsoring the Summer Concert Series.

The Summer Concert Series takes place 6:30 p.m.-8 p.m. on Thursdays, June through August, at Lake Ann Park. Enjoy a summer evening filled with diverse live music, local food trucks and more.

Dance Camps are here! This summer, the Dance for Fun program is putting on three themed dance camps for dancers to learn and engage in a fun way. Dancers will learn themed choreography and enjoy creative activities.
