Step Inside Chanhassen’s Future City Center Park
This week, we’re taking residents inside the Civic Campus Phase 2 construction site for a behind-the-scenes video tour with our construction partners.
From the future park pavilion and stage area to the splashpad, playground and gathering spaces taking shape across the site, the tour gives a firsthand look at where things stand today and what residents can expect when the project is complete.
Construction continues to move forward this spring, with site work underway and major features beginning to take shape across the future City Center Park. We can't wait to welcome residents to this community gathering space when it opens later this year.

Carver County Offers Discount for Smart Irrigation System Controllers
Carver County provides smart irrigation controllers to residents at reduced costs through the Rachio redemption program (Rachio is a company that makes smart sprinkler controllers for home irrigation systems). Smart controllers use local weather forecasts to deliver the right amount of water to lawns and gardens, saving you money.
Get an additional $20-25 off during the upcoming bonus week, May 18-25.
Grass only needs one inch of water a week and that can come from rain or a hose. Making sure systems aren't overwatering or watering during wet periods preserves our groundwater — the source of our drinking water — and prevents excess runoff.
