Thank You Snow Plow Crew!
After this past weekend’s snowstorm, we want to give a big thank you to Chanhassen’s snowplow team for once again keeping our streets and trails safe. Snow operations are a true team effort; in total, nearly two dozen employees help operate a fleet that includes 13 large plow trucks, along with loaders, tractors, pickup trucks and other equipment to maintain roughly 119 miles of city streets and about 75 miles of trails throughout the community.
We also want to thank residents for doing their part during snow events by giving plows room to work and helping keep streets clear so crews can do their job safely and efficiently.
Knock on wood, maybe winter just fired its last big shot. But we’ll keep the plows ready just in case.

The City of Chanhassen's 43rd annual Easter Egg Candy Hunt will be held in two waves on Saturday, April 4: Wave 1 is at 9 a.m. and Wave 2 is at 10 a.m. at City Center Park.
New this year: Kids will hunt in four different age categories: 8-12, 5-7, 3-4 and a special "2 and under" zone.
In the "2 and under" zone, parents may mindfully assist their young children in collecting eggs in this zone. In all other zones, children dash for and collect eggs independently. We ask that parents do not collect eggs or candy on behalf of their children.
