 The City of Chaska has partnered with Community Action Partnership of Scott, Carver and Dakota Counties (CAP), Carver County, and St. John's Lutheran Church to bring monthly free food distributions to their communities.
All food distributions are from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the old Gedney factory, 2100 Stoughton Ave, Chaska, MN 55318. Everyone is welcome. These are drive-thru events with volunteers who load the food into your car. Upcoming distribution dates are:
- Thursday, March 19
- Thursday, April 16
- Thursday, May 21
- Thursday, June 18

 Mark your calendars; the Easter Bunny is planning to hop into town on Saturday, April 4. The City of Chanhassen's 43rd annual Easter Egg Candy Hunt will be held in two waves. Wave 1 is at 9 a.m. and wave 2 is at 10 a.m. at City Center Park.
New this year: Kids will hunt in four different age categories: 8-12, 5-7, 3-4 and a special "2 and under" zone. Make sure to bring your camera for a photo with the Easter Bunny! Tickets are $6 per child; accompanying adults are free. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged.
Coloring contest pages are free and available at City Hall, the Chanhassen Recreation Center, and can be downloaded here. Entries will be judged according to age category, ages 0-12. Participation is free. Submit entries by Sunday, April 5.
