Thank You Veterans
On this Veterans Day, it is with heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to our veterans for their service to this great nation that we say thank you. Without question, we live in the very best country in the world, thanks to the brave men and women who have defended our freedoms.
It was a true honor for me to spend last Friday morning honoring veterans in our community. Their humble demeanor never ceases to amaze me. I encouraged the veterans to share their stories, especially with the younger generation. Like my own daughters, who are proud of their veteran dad, the stories they hear, understanding the commitment and sacrifice and the love of country, will forever stay with them. It is my hope that with each story shared by our veterans, it instills in the next generation that same pride and love of country.
