A Quick Guide to Election Day Access
For those Chanhassen residents who live in Precincts 3 and 5 and therefore vote at the Chanhassen Rec Center (click our polling location finder to find out if that's you), we look forward to seeing you there on Election Day!
The Chanhassen Rec Center is located at 2310 Coulter Boulevard and, upon arriving there, you may notice that we are currently undergoing some important maintenance work that affects the parking area.
This construction was prompted by the formation of a stormwater catch basin sinkhole, which began causing drainage issues in the area. Although we originally planned to begin this project outside of the election window, the situation required a quicker response in order to maintain a safe and accessible space.
The good news is that none of this will impact your voting experience. We are taking significant steps to ensure that this Election Day is as seamless as any other, with staff available to assist and guide you throughout the day.
To make your voting experience at the Rec Center as smooth as possible:

A widened, temporary driveway will be available for easier access.

Staff will be on hand to direct traffic and ensure a safe, organized flow throughout the day.
