Downtown Guidelines & Traffic Study
City Council and staff have been working on creating a cohesive, walkable downtown and an important component of that is managing the projected increased level of traffic with potential redevelopment. Our goal is to continue to make downtown a destination, but in doing so, we need to ensure we are intentional with road design, trails, and crosswalks. On Monday, we reviewed results from a comprehensive traffic study as well as outlined guidelines for development/redevelopment.
Key Dates:
- Attend an Open House on March 4 between 4:00-5:30 p.m. and talk with city staff about design guidelines and results of the traffic study. Your input matters.
Thank you for your attention to the dates and be sure to sign up for project page updates. I am available for questions or feedback eryan@chanhassenmn.gov.
Warmest Regards,
Elise Ryan Mayor
