Hello Chanhassen Residents,
I hope this message finds you well. While I don’t have a compressive update, I wanted to highlight some important dates, ask for your feedback, and share a fun experience I recently had.
Important Dates

Feedback & Ideas
One of the best parts of this email is that it spurs on questions or comments from you. Sometimes the comments are related to the topics in the email, other times, it's an idea or question that has been on your mind. Therefore, as we look to laying out priorities for 2024, I’d ask that you email me any areas of interest that the City Council should consider as we plan for the year ahead.
Thank You, Bluff Creek Elementary School
I had the great opportunity to again visit Ms. Swenson’s third-grade class at Bluff Creek Elementary. I was blown away by their energy, interest, and engaging questions. We discussed the role of a Mayor and City Council, the various city departments and their functions, and the exciting plans for the future of Chanhassen. Their civics and government understanding was truly impressive! The students did request that the City Council consider: Crazy Hair Day, Mix & Match Day, and how to get more football fields. Thank you to the students and amazing Ms. Swenson!
I look forward to hearing from you. Stay warm and be well.
Warmest Regards,
Elise Ryan Mayor
