Bavaria Roundabout Set to Open, New Closures Begin Monday on Highway 10
The next phase of construction of the Highway 41/10 Project begins this week.
Bavaria Roundabout Set to Open
The new roundabout at Bavaria Road and Highway 10 (Engler Boulevard) is scheduled to open this weekend, weather permitting, restoring access through the intersection.
New Closures Begin June 16
Starting Monday, June 16, White Oak Drive and Highway 41 (Chestnut Street) will be closed at Highway 10, and Highway 10 will be closed between Royal Oak Drive and Crest Drive. During this phase of construction, resident and business access onto White Oak Drive will be available via northbound Highway 41 via a temporary opening in the median.

Closure in Effect, Storm Sewer Work Starts on Waconia Parkway North

The full closure at Waconia Parkway North is now in place as crews begin safety and resurfacing improvements.
Storm sewer work begins June 16.
The project includes a new roundabout at Waconia Parkway North, resurfacing between Highway 30 and Waconia Parkway South, and improvements on Waconia Parkway North up to Scott Lane.
The signed detour uses Highways 30, 25, and 32. The road is expected to reopen in early September.

Highway 40 Paving Expected in Late June
Crews continue work north of the Minnesota River to improve safety and road conditions on Highway 40 near Belle Plaine. Paving is expected to begin the week of June 23, weather permitting.
Current work includes grading, striping, and reconnecting driveways. A detour remains in place via Highways 25, 14, 53, and 52. The project is on track for completion later this summer.
Highway 101 Bridge Repairs Continue, One-Night Full Closure Expected in July

Crews continue maintenance on the Highway 101 bridge between Highway 61 (Flying Cloud Drive) and the Minnesota River Boat Launch. Work includes resealing the bridge deck and replacing expansion joints.
Lane shifts are expected this week. A one-night full closure is expected in July. Stay tuned for the exact date and visit the annual maintenance projects page for updates.

Paving and Lane Shifts Ahead on Highway 212
Paving begins soon on Tacoma Avenue and new westbound lanes. Expect traffic shifts by the end of June, weather permitting.

Highway 11 Closed South of Campground
Highway 11 is fully closed from just south of the Carver Park Reserve campground entrance to Wisteria Street near Lake Auburn Church.
Carver Park Reserve remains open and accessible from the north.
Visitors can still reach the nature center, campground, singletrack trails, horse trails, and archery range.
Road and utility work continue throughout the corridor, weather permitting. Road widening is expected to begin in mid-June, and electrical work is ongoing near Highway 5.

Roundabout Construction Progresses at Highway 11 & 14
Construction progresses at the intersection of Highways 11 and 14. Crews are placing soil and building up the roadway base this week, with storm sewer installation to follow. Concrete work will begin soon after.
The roundabout is expected to open to traffic by mid-July. A signed detour uses Shady Oak Drive and Highways 10, 11, and 43.
Medians and ADA Ramps Installed at Powers Blvd. and West 78th Street

Work at the intersection of Highway 17 (Powers Blvd.) and West 78th Street continues.
Crews are testing the traffic signals, and ADA-compliant curb ramps are now in place. Work will continue with intermittent lane closures.

Salem Avenue Bridge Repairs Delayed
Due to significant rainfall, the closure of Salem Avenue near Norwood Young America, between Highway 212 and Highway 50, is delayed. Work may occur late June.
