Clubhouse Connections
Birnamwood opened the 2020 season on Saturday, April 18 with the first tee time at 6:30 am.
Right now everyone is living day-to-day and changes come quickly. So, the opening of the course came as a bit of a surprise. But staff had been diligently planning how we could safely bring patrons back to the course.
When the word came that we could open, our goal was to do that as fast and efficiently as possible. City staff that had been reassigned to the golf course and not familiar with the golf scene learned quickly and made opening a success. I want to personally thank them for all of their efforts
I also want to thank my regular seasonal staff, who are not at the course right now. They have been taking care of golfers for up to 20 years and we miss them.

Course Tips
No Touch Cups Check out the new - but temporary - cups on all of Birnamwood's nine holes. These "no touch" cups were installed to avoid multiple hands reaching in to retrieve golf balls.
Golfers simply need to have their ball hit the pipe to end play on that hole. This may eliminate hole-in-ones, but will keep golfers safe during COVID-19.
