THE GARAGE VIP meeting will be Monday, January 23 at 6 pm!  Free Food!

What is a THE GARAGE VIP?  The VIP members of THE GARAGE meet each month to plan the concerts for two months out!  To become a VIP, you must provide service in THE GARAGE by either performing or volunteering and pay a $5 annual membership fee.  VIP members not only decide who gets to play at THE GARAGE, they create the policy and procedures for the venue, create the budgets for each show, and then attend all THE GARAGE concerts for free!

Why does THE GARAGE book concerts at meetings?  Simple, THE GARAGE venue was developed as a place for young local musicians to hang out, practice, and perform.  The musicians who started the venue in 1999 created policy that THE GARAGE venue would be run under the direction of the music community.  Anyone who wanted an opportunity to perform would just need to join the community - no auditions, no demos - just a willingness to be part of the scene.  Love local music but not a musician, no problem!  Just help out selling concessions, doing security, or working backstage!
