Things are Alive and Kickin at the Center for the Arts.
We have some exciting activities coming up at the Center for the Arts this spring. First, the Barbary Coast will be returning to the Schneider Theater stage on Saturday, May 31. This concert is almost sold out, so purchase tickets now. Transport yourself to the movies on Sunday, June 1 and Tuesday, June 3 with the NOTE-able Singers. Finally, join the 24 Alive and Kickin ensemble members as they return to the Center for the Arts with "Makin History" June 13-15 and June 20-22. You won't want to miss their high energy mix of story telling, history, and popular music spanning the past 75 years.

This show features musical performances and personal reflections by each member of Alive & Kickin - their experiences during historical events that shaped and changed the world we live in today. From Pearl Harbor to the assassination of JFK to gay marriage to President Obama's 2008 election, Alive & Kickin will bring us back to those unforgettable events using story and song to evoke the memories of where we were on "that fateful day."
