A proclamation will be presented Monday, January 9 to the Bloomington School Board and the Bloomington City Council.
The Human Rights Commission's 2016 Annual Report and 2017 Work Plan will be presented Monday, January 9 at the Bloomington City Council meeting. Once approved by the City Council, the Commission's Annual Report and Work Plan will be available on the City's website.
Bloomington is seeking applications for adults to serve on the Human Rights Commission.
Applicants are appointment by the City Council and must be residents of Bloomington.
Applications are available online and can be turned into the City Manager's office.

Kevin Lindsey, Commissioner, State Department of Human Rights, will give an overview of the State Human Rights Act 363A and an update on the Department of Human Rights at the upcoming Human Rights Commission meeting January 23.
The public is encouraged to attend Human Rights Commission meetings. Occurring the third Monday of each month, 5:30 p.m. in the McLeod Conference Room at Bloomington Civic Plaza.
