nonprofits team up to host “Charity Cakes” Pancake Breakfast on July 30th
Event
features all-you-can-eat pancakes and kid’s activities while supporting
programs for area kids
West Bloomfield, July X, 2016 —The West Bloomfield Rotary Club, Greater West
Bloomfield Community Coalition and the Optimist Club of West Bloomfield have
teamed up to offer a community-wide pancake breakfast, “Charity Cakes”, to
raise funds to continue their work helping area kids. The event will be held at
the West Bloomfield High School on July 30th from 8am-12pm, in conjunction with
the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show.
Charity Cakes will feature all-you-can-eat pancakes
from Katie’s Flying Pancakes, raffle prizes and kid’s activities including a
bounce house and face painting. With support from the West Bloomfield Parks and
Recreation Commission, C & G Newspapers and the West Bloomfield School
District, Charity Cakes is a community effort.
Tickets are $10/person ($5 for kids under 4) or $12/person
at the door. Super Supporter tickets can be purchased for anyone looking to
give a little extra. A Super Supporter ticket includes a t-shirt, “jump the
line privileges” and event recognition, Super Supporter tickets must be
purchased by July 15.
