 Marshbank Music Series Begins July 13th



West Bloomfield, June 29, 2016  — The West Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission (WBPRC) will begin its Marshbank Music Series on July 13th at 7pm at Marshbank Park. Concerts run weekly on Wednesdays through August 10th.

The free concert series is open to people of all ages and will consist of five performances that can please anyone’s musical taste. All concerts begin at 7 p.m. and conclude at 8:30 p.m.

“The Marshbank Music series is a great way for families to spend time together while enjoying the amenities at Marshbank Park,” said Kelly Hyer, recreation supervisor for WBPRC. “The performances range from many different styles; both kids and adults can enjoy the music.”

This year’s lineup is as follows:

·         July 13 – Big Will & The 360 Degree Band

·         July 20 – Magic Bus

·         July 27 – Mainstreet Soul

·         August 3 – Hidden Agenda

·         August 10 – Remedy

The West Bloomfield Optimist Club will be on hand selling concession items.The proceeds they earn will be used to fund  programs for West Bloomfield kids.The Marshbank Music Series is made possible in part due to its presenting sponsor; ITC Holdings Corp.
