Nights Summer Concert Series Kicks Off July 8th
WEST BLOOMFIELD, June 10, 2015 — The West
Bloomfield Parks and Recreation Commission (WBPRC) will kick off its annual Hot
Music, Hot Nights Summer Concert Series on July 8th at 7 pm at Marshbank
Park. Concerts run weekly on Wednesdays through August 5th.
The free
concert series is open to people of all ages and will consist of five
performances that can please anyone’s musical taste; performers range from
country music to danceable Motown. All concerts will begin at 7 p.m. and
conclude at 8:15 p.m.
This year’s
lineup is as follows:
- July 8 - Small Town Son
- July 15 - Pete and the Parrotheads
- July 22 - THUMMp
- July 29 - Big Will and the 360° Band
- August 5 - Cosmic Groove
Concessions
will be available inside the Lodge, featuring a variety of picnic-type fare. All
of the proceeds will directly benefit the Optimist Club of West Bloomfield.
