TIP Phase I Maximum Annual Credit Increase

Based on feedback from institutions, we anticipated an increase to the TIP Phase I maximum annual credits from 24 to 30 beginning with Academic Year 2021-22. Our hope was to announce the annual credit increase along with news of the Fiscal Year 2022 (FY22) budget and State financial aid program updates. Due to the current timing of the FY22 budget, we moved forward with adding the changes to MiSSG. You will notice as of September 7, 2021, the credit adjustment is reflected. We are hopeful this change will support our students towards the completion of their degree.
