Board of State Canvassers to meet
The Board of State Canvassers will meet at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 27 in suite L-150, first floor, of the Cadillac Place, 3044 W. Grand Boulevard in Detroit.
Included on the agenda will be:
- Consideration of meeting minutes for approval
- Continuation of the canvass of the Aug. 6, 2013 primary election for the City of Detroit.
- Recording of the results of the county canvass for the Aug. 6, 2013 special primary for the office of State Representative, 49th District.
- Such other and further business as may be properly presented to the Board.
Attending and speaking at a Board of State Canvassers meeting
A person may address the board on any agenda item at the end of the meeting. A person who wishes to address the board on an agenda item at the time the item is being discussed must submit a written request to the chairperson of the board prior to the opening of the meeting. People addressing the board are allotted three minutes.
