Meet some of the many Mich. people in need of a life-saving organ transplant
Secretary Johnson joined 10-year-old Aiyana Wesley of
Inkster, who is
waiting for a heart transplant, at a recent news conference to highlight the need for people to join the Michigan Organ Donor Registry. Aiyana is featured in a new video called "Waiting to
Live: Wayne County."
Johnson has made expanding Michigan’s organ donor lists a
priority, from instituting new policies to partnering with Gift of Life
Michigan and the Michigan Eye-Bank.
