Board of State Canvassers to meet Nov. 28 in Lansing
The Board of State Canvassers will conduct an in-person meeting at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 28, 2022, in Room 1100 of the Binsfeld Office Building, 201 Townsend St., in Lansing.
Included on the agenda will be:
- Consideration of meeting minutes for approval (September 9, 2022 meeting)
- Canvass and certification of the November 8, 2022 General Election
- Any other business properly submitted to the board
- Public comment
This meeting will be livestreamed on Michigan Senate TV.
Attending and speaking at a Board of State Canvassers meeting
Pursuant to Rule 168.845, subject to the discretion of the chair, during Agenda Item 2, the board will allocate 3 minutes for public comment from candidates or an authorized representative; representatives of a ballot question committee; representatives of a major political party; or county or municipal clerks. Any other individual wishing to address the board will be allocated 1 minute to speak during public comment (Agenda Item 4) subject to the discretion of the chair.
Instead of or in addition to providing live comments, individuals are encouraged to submit their comments in writing to the board at MDOS-Canvassers@Michigan.gov.
