Board of State Canvassers to meet Aug. 31 in Lansing
The Board of State Canvassers will conduct an in-person meeting at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2022, in Room 1100 of the Binsfeld Office Building, 201 Townsend St., in Lansing.
Included on the agenda will be:
Public comment
Consideration of meeting minutes for approval (August 19, 2022)
Certification of the Recount for the Office of State Representative, 34th District
Consideration of the sufficiency of the initiative petition submitted by Promote the Vote 2022
Assignment of the number designation for the constitutional amendment sponsored by Promote the Vote 2022
Consideration of the 100-word summary of purpose for the constitutional amendment sponsored by Promote the Vote 2022
Consideration of the sufficiency of the initiative petition submitted by Reproductive Freedom for All
Assignment of the number designation for the constitutional amendment sponsored by Reproductive Freedom for All
Consideration of the 100-word summary of purpose for the constitutional amendment sponsored by Reproductive Freedom For All
Any other business properly submitted to the Board
Attending and speaking at a Board of State Canvassers meeting
A person may address the board on any agenda item. A person who wishes to address the board on an agenda item must submit a written request to the chairperson of the board prior to the start of the meeting. Persons addressing the board are allotted three minutes.
