Speedy office service
- More than 2,000 people walk up to our offices each day without scheduling ahead and are served immediately. All office visits, scheduled or not, take on average just 20 minutes total.
Easy scheduling
- It’s easier than ever to schedule office visits, with next-day visits available much of every weekday on our website or by phone. Visit Michigan.gov/SOS or call 888-SOS-MICH.
Added convenience
- Thanks to a technology upgrade in March, more than 140,000 people have renewed their driver’s license or state ID at a self-service station, or renewed their enhanced license online. Prior to March, these convenient service options were not available.
