Board of State Canvassers meeting rescheduled to Dec. 21

 

The Board of State Canvassers have rescheduled today's meeting, which was unable to proceed due to technical difficulties, to 9 a.m. December 21, 2020. It will be held remotely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please use this link to observe the meeting.

Included on the agenda will be:

  • Consideration of the meeting minutes for the November 23, 2020 meeting.
  • Certification of the results of the partial recount for the Office of State Representative, 71st State House District.
  • Such other and further business as may be properly presented to the board.

Attending and speaking at a Board of State Canvassers meeting

A person who wishes to speak to the board on an agenda item at the time the item is being discussed must submit a written request to the chairperson of the board prior to the opening of the meeting. Requests to speak should be submitted to MDOS-Canvassers@Michigan.gov. Persons addressing the board are allotted three minutes. Those who do not submit a request to speak to the board in advance of the meeting may submit written comments during the meeting by using the “Chat” feature at the meeting link above, or via email at MDOS-Canvassers@Michigan.gov. Those submitting written comments should identify the agenda item to on which their comment is addressed along with their comments on that agenda item.
