Stay Home Stay Safe Executive Order

Administrative Office, Senior Center, Kids Kingdom & Park Playgrounds CLOSED.

At 11:00 am this morning, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced a Stay Home, Stay Safe Executive Order (2020-21 COVID-19). The order is a temporary requirement to suspend activities that are not necessary to sustain or protect life.

The order states: Individuals may leave their home or place of residence, and travel as necessary to engage in outdoor activity, including walking, hiking, running, cycling, or any other recreational activity consistent with remaining at least six feet from people from outside the individual’s household.

Oxford Township Parks & Recreation Administrative Office, Senior Center, Kids Kingdom and park playgrounds will be CLOSED through April 13. Please visit the parks & recreation website or Facebook page for up-to-date program information.
