Closing Facilities & Program Cancellations

In an effort to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and protect the health and safety of residents, the Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Department has deemed it prudent to take the following measures:

• The senior center in Seymour Lake Township Park will be closed from Friday, March 13 to Friday, April 3.
• The community room, adjacent to the senior center, will not be available for rent or parks & recreation programs from Friday, March 13 to Friday, 
April 3.
• All activities held at Oxford school facilities are cancelled through April 3.

 

Anyone affected by the above will be contacted by parks and recreation staff members.

Any and all outdoor activities and programs will proceed as scheduled.
Any and all outdoor facilities will remain open and available to the public.

At this point, the parks and recreation administrative office in Seymour Lake Township Park (2795 Seymour Lake Rd.) will remain open. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Folks who wish to register for a class, program, event or activity can still do so online at register.oxparkrec.org or by calling (248) 628-1720.
