Halloween Road Rally

HALLOWEEN ROAD RALLY

Are you looking for an evening out without the kids? Then gather your friends and register early to reserve your spot for the Halloween Road Rally. Enjoy an evening of fun and adventure as you travel throughout Oxford solving puzzles and clues, all leading to our final destination. The evening will end with prizes and a buffet style dinner. This event is for Adults 18 & over on Saturday, October 14.

 

JACK-O-LANTERN JAMBOREE

How does a hayride, pumpkin patch and trick or treating sound? Bring your family and join the parks & recreation staff on a safe fun-filled autumn day.  Participants and their families will enjoy hayrides, a pumpkin from the Great Pumpkin Patch and candy & trinkets from trick or treat trail. Don't forget to wear your Halloween costumes and comfortable walking shoes. Tickets must be purchased in advanced. Event is for children 12 & under on Saturday, October 28.

MEIJER TURKEY TROT

Do you like to run or walk? Our 5k Run or 2k Walk is designed to accommodate every person in your family, workplace and neighborhood. So start November out right by creating a little room for that Thanksgiving dinner by participating in the Meijer Turkey Trot. Event is held at Seymour Lake Township Park on Saturday, November 4. Pre-registration with shirt must be done by October 20. Register online at www.oxparkrec.org.

KICK THE KIDS OUT

This December, Oxford Township parks & Recreation is offering a unique opportunity for all parents- a place to drop off the kids in a safe and supervised environment, allowing you to have a few hours to yourself! We will provide pizza for dinner, along with crafts, various games, open gym and a movie. And a special guest appearance from Santa! Event held at Oxford Elementary School on Friday, December 15.

*Adult Club Information: Participate in friendly pick-up games for the skilled and unskilled player. Equal participation is stressed. Drop in players are accepted at $5 per night on a first come fist serve basis. Members always have priority over drop-in players. Memberships is limited to 30 participants in each club.
