Making people warm has never been so easy! For the first time in 30 years you can help families keep the heat on by donating online! Give first then come to the Walk For Warmth Saturday, February 10, 8:30 AM, City on a Hill, 100 Pine Street in Zeeland.

Consider giving in multiples of 30! Just saying....

Special Guest Speakers

Special guest speakers will read stories of Community Action Agency clients - first person accounts of what it's like to work and struggle and still fall behind. The speakers will be community-minded students from Zeeland High School Spanish, instructed by Becky Purnell.

Participants will be treated to great morning 'joe from Lemonjello's; breakfast cinnamon rolls from Holland Christian Schools kitchen staff; hot chocolate/water from the Red Cross of West Michigan, parked halfway around the 2-mile walk around downtown Zeeland. Thanks, too, to Meyaard, Tolman & Venlet P.C, accountants, for the use of their parking lot!

w4w 2018 postcard graphic

Rarely do we receive mail anymore that we actually want! So we thought we'd send you a postcard, personalized and filled with possibility!

The possibility is for you to easily help families in your area that are facing shut-off notices from their utility company. Go ahead, try it - it'll make you feel better!

You can also show off a great poster design from a Coopersville High School student.

It's also possible that you'll join us for the event on Saturday, February 10. We hope you will - along with your family, co-workers, friends and fellow worshipers.

The walk itself is a well-marked, 2-mile route around downtown Zeeland, with a hot chocolate stand halfway around, provided by the Red Cross of West Michigan!
