2017 Boater & Hunter Safety Classes

Sheriff Update

The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office has new classes available for Hunter Safety and Boater Safety. Classes and safety programs will be added in other communities soon. Check for updates at miOttawa.org. 


Hunter Safety Classes

February 14, 15, 16 & 18
Time on the 14th-16th: 6pm-9pm
Location on Feb 14-16: Holland Township Fire Station 1 on Riley
Time on the 18th: 8am-11am
Location on the 18th: Tulip City Rod & Gun Club, 4381 136th
Attend all dates. This course involves classroom instruction as well as hands-on training with live fire. Students under 12 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Students who successfully complete the course will receive their Michigan DNR Hunter Safety Certificate.
